Charli XCX Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film First Look

Charli XCX is preparing for a major cinematic onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.

In the film, the artist embodies what she calls as a dark version of herself.

It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, the performer commented.

She clarified in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea stemmed from the pressure to make one.

An Early Look into The Project

The initial preview, unveiled on Thursday, mixes real clips from her recent tour with fictionalized backstage scenes.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who explained that the plot revolves around a reality where the singer opted for alternate decisions in the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.

I’m deeply appreciating my cinematic path, she shared. I feel very, very inspired right now in that field, and I only ever want to do roles that stimulate me.
