I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
