The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers groups.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
